App versus browser: when to use each
The main difference between our mobile app and browser version lies in offline capability and notification speed. Our app caches game tiles and account data locally, so you can browse available tables even if your connection briefly drops. Push notifications arrive instantly when a new live-dealer seat opens or when a withdrawal is approved. The app also stores your login session, so you stay signed in without re-entering your password every visit. Browser access does not offer offline cache, but it requires no installation and works immediately on any phone or tablet—useful if you are traveling between Jakarta and Bandung and do not want to install new software on a borrowed device. Both versions connect to the same account and payment methods (e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking), so your balance and transaction history sync across both instantly.
Device compatibility
We support Android 7 and later on phones and tablets; iOS 12 and later via browser add-to-home-screen; and Windows, macOS, and Linux desktops running Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. Most devices from the past five years meet these requirements. If your Android device shows "Unknown source" warnings during APK install, go to Settings → Security → Unknown Sources and toggle it on temporarily; the warning is a standard Android safety feature, not an indication that our app is unsafe. Older Android versions (6 and below) or iOS versions before 12 will not run the app, but you can always access poker dewa through a web browser on any device with internet connectivity.
Troubleshooting common installation issues
If the Android APK does not install, first check that your device has enough free storage (at least 100 MB); if storage is full, delete old files or apps and try again. If you see a "Certificate not trusted" error during installation, it means your phone's security settings are strict. Go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps, select your browser or file manager, and enable the permission. After installation, you can disable this again. For iOS users, if "Add to Home Screen" does not appear, ensure you are using Safari (not Chrome) and scroll down in the share menu—the option sits near the bottom. On desktop browsers, if the page loads slowly, clear your browser cache and cookies, then refresh; this often resolves cached login or payment-form issues. If you cannot log in after installation, verify that your username and password are correct, and check that your account has been fully verified with an identity document.
Data, permissions, and account security
Our app requests permission to access your camera (for identity verification during KYC), microphone (for optional live support calls), and storage (to cache game data and logs). We do not access your contacts, messages, or photos without your explicit action. All communication between your device and our servers uses industry-standard encryption; your password is hashed and never stored in plain text. When you deposit via local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, or online payment, payment processing is handled by each provider's secure gateway—poker dewa does not store your e-wallet credentials. Bank transfers through e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, or online payment go through your own banking app and are authenticated by your bank, not by us. Once you verify your identity by uploading a document and taking a selfie, we store these securely and use them only for account recovery and withdrawal verification. You can review your connected devices in account settings and sign out from any device remotely if needed.
